According to reports, Prime Minister Modi is following a strict routine during this period. He is sleeping on the ground and consuming only coconut water. Additionally, he is closely adhering to the ‘Yam rules,’ which include practicing self-discipline and abstaining from certain activities.

As part of the ritual, Prime Minister Modi is also following a ‘sattvic’ diet, which involves avoiding the consumption of onions, garlic, and several other food items. The sattvic diet is considered pure and is believed to promote clarity of mind and spiritual well-being.

Meditation is another integral aspect of the 11-day ritual. Prime Minister Modi is dedicating time to meditation, allowing for introspection and spiritual connection during this significant period.

On January 12, Prime Minister Modi declared the commencement of the ritual, expressing gratitude to everyone for being able to witness this historic and auspicious occasion of the Ram temple’s Pran Pratishtha.

The Pran Pratishtha ceremony will be conducted on January 22, with Prime Minister Modi serving as the ‘yajman’ or host. Pandit Lakshmikant Dixit, along with a group of priests, will carry out the rituals of the Pran Pratishtha at the auspicious time of 12:30 pm.

The Ram Lalla idol, sculpted by Mysuru-based sculptor Arun Yogiraj, was brought to the temple on Wednesday night and positioned in the sanctum sanctorum after a puja ritual. This idol holds immense significance for devotees and symbolizes the presence of Lord Ram.

Over 11,000 people from across the nation and abroad, who have been invited by the temple trust, will be present to witness the consecration taking place on Monday.
